Two hand controls with multiple functions, one for the care staff and one for the patient. Ideal for people with more specialised needs, or palliative care. The bed encompasses high specification, with numerous controls for lumber, mid section and leg support, allowing extreme positioning for all scenarios associated with high care needs. Plastic heavy duty side rails which are solid but with hand holds at the top for patient use, this is to avoid entrapment. Two sections on either side of the bed fold down flush to the frame to allow care givers all round access to patient. Please note: These come as standard and not an optional extra. CPR pull lever for quick aid to resuscitation. Bed slightly extends with a red lever under the foot plate for X-ray plate [x-ray plate not included on this bed] Under the bed lights to insure the bed is constantly in view allowing all round monitoring even in dusk light. Bed is solid but manourvable with easy glide wheels with bumper protection capability with hidden wheels at the front and rear of the bed. Extended lead for connection to power supply. Bed needs to be connected to a power source at all times to allow all bed controls to be worked.
Please Note: Because of the electrical components which powers the bed, water and any kind of spray must not be used incase of electrical fault and fire. Hygienic, sterilising wipes must only be used to avoid danger from electric shock to patient and caring team. As with all electrical items, the bed must be unplugged before cleaning.
